RIGHTS! EDITORIAL BOARD

What comes after the pandemic? Or more accurately: what do you think should come after it? While there is significant journalistic and academic attention as to what has caused the pandemic and how it has been managed, from a human rights perspective, our interest in this thematic call for papers is looking forward: Beyond the Pandemic.
The ongoing covid-19 pandemic has exposed how we have taken many aspects of our life for granted. However, it has also shown how – socially, economically, and politically – the “world of yesterday” was neither necessary nor unavoidable. The pandemic is reshuffling perceptions and priorities. Every crisis can indeed offer a possibility to envisage what could be. And we would like to hear your voices and ideas.
We seek contributions in between 2500 and 4000 words that aim at discussing some aspect of life that needs being rethought. We particularly encourage authors to approach the question through the lenses of human rights and/or democratisation.
Rights! launched this new thematic long-form series in January 2021. Submissions should be sent to RightsBlog@protonmail.com and will be reviewed and published on an ongoing basis.
